Who’s hungry??

Truth being said, between working and trying to solve my “issues”, my diet has been shit. So when an opportunity arises to eat like a king, I’m there dude.

Well, for the past couple of weeks there has been a huge catamaran docked in the port (you can see a bit of it were Zoot Allures was launched). Being close to the airport our harbor gets quite a bit of foreign transient yachts. This one was here last year as well and it was good to see the captain, Alberto from Italy, again. The boss/owner are arriving next week so he and his crew of 2 invited us over for a spaghetti dinner Wednesday night. How cool is that!?!

So after work I went down to ol’ Zoot to re-install the battery selector switch and refasten a botch wire connection with hopes that that “issue” would be solve, but nada. F-it. Dinner time! Did I mention this cat is huge?? It’s wider than Zoot Allures length! It was dark when I arrived so the pics are few and crappy but hey. The salon is bigger than my city apartment, I don’t know how many rooms it’s got and the galley’s got it all. Dinner was mussels and spaghetti which was boiled in the mussel juice…. you know… Italian still, nice and spicy and al dente! And then clams and guacamole. It was sooooooo goooood.!! A nice table on deck, there were 7 of us and we had a jolly time. It wasn’t until I asked what time it was, 12:30am, which meant I had to get up in 5.5 hours and was still an hour away from home! Boy was I hurting yesterday at work at that dumb Biological Psychiatry conference, thank god it’s over.

ps… This weekend it’s time to relax on the water. I’ve got guests on Saturday and Sunday. It’s gonna be windless so I’ll get my genoa on. Hopefully if we go for a ride, we wont get… stranded! That would be an issue!
