Yes…… Really!
The weather has been really fine the past few days. Yesterday (Wednesday), I had an early gig at work (WWF and Economics). Going in really early means getting out really early. By 4:30pm I was on Zoot Allures and had a really beautiful swim in the calm still waters. After the sun set, I found myself laying on the forward deck with my back up against the mast, taking it all in. It was … yes, you guessed right….really beautiful.
Last weekend wasn’t much to write about. It was really windy. So I met up with G.S. and the gang Friday night and had some really fine food at a restaurant, something I hadn’t done in a long time (I mostly do taverns). The food was really exceptional! Smoked mussels, marinated anchovies on toast, salads etc. But what really had me thrilled was the beets with tsatsiki. It was so pink it looked fake….. but oh so good……..really! Taking pictures was taking a toll with all the hungry competition. It’s the kind of restaurant you’d like to take someone really special!
Saturday I was geared to spend the day sailing. The winds were up some more, more than usual (25knots+). I looked out and there wasn’t a soul out on the bumpy water-foamed horizon. I found it a bit risky and stayed put. The swell was really annoying too so I spent most of the day ashore. But Sunday was a really perfect day. Bright sun, warm breeze of 10-15 knots. Every one was out and about. One problem though….. I left at noon for the city to go to work. And that really really really really sucked!!!!
But in the long run, my baby has the nicest butt. It may be a “guy” thang, but what the hell. Everyone has their pet peeves. I’m just going with the flow. Why fight it? And that makes me feel really good! (the nice butt thing, not the not fighting thing)
Stay really tuned,
Capt Pete
ps……. I acknowledge the fact that all this really stuff has become really annoying!
pss…. oh, really??
It is really amazing how you really like the butt as well.

Hello Capt Pete,
Driving home from work today I found myself at Pape and Danforth Avenues, Little Greece here in Toronto, and somehow I remembered you, Got home and there was a Zoot-post on my e-mail.
I think this a sign I need to get another Sailboat.
Cheers !!!

My Jakatar’s canoe stern may not be as shapely as Zoot’s, but she’s a sexy lady in high heels – when she’s on the hard wearing boat stands.
