It’s nice not Working

As if I came to some great breakthrough. But I must admit that the extra time I got from working weekends this past winter is sweet.
So… Stopped working, shaved the beard and moved aboard. Had to blast back to town to rap up my tax stuff and all seems well. Last Thursday went for a spin to Perati island just a couple of miles north and took the opportunity to fool around sailing. Not much wind.

Headed out east, tacked over west, then back over, got a good heading, wind dropped, started heading back, saw Alex and decided to keep on going. At Perati we had a fine time hanging swimming in beautiful still waters and I haven’t got a pic for y’all. Sorry, but then y’all would be too jealous to cope with.
That evening I head back to town to go to the farm in Nafplio with Mom. The city water pressure has dropped so much that we had to totally revamp our auto watering system. Also get a serviced generator back up the buffer reservoir.

Yup, spent the weekend up ladders and under bushes covered with insect bites. But it was nice to spend some quality time with Mom and we squeezed a few dips in the sea.
Late Monday night I was back on Zoot Allures. Met up with Alex and made plans to get the show on the road. This weekend we’re heading south!
Sure beats working!
Stay tuned
Capt Pete
Ps… Almost forgot. I also cooked on the optimus kero stove aboard. My galley is open for business

Pss… Gotta get used to this “phone” bloging. And think of a way to take pictures without endangering this old 3GS.

Right on! Another productive member of society chucks it all to become a boat bum. What could be better?
